Things to Do
There is always a full events calendar in Lincoln Park. Visit the Lincoln Park Zoo, which started with only a few pairs of swans. It now features a lion habitat, reptile exhibit, edible farm, ape house, seal pool, and more. Walk north from the zoo, and you'll find the Lincoln Park Conservatory. You can escape from Chicago's winter weather and enjoy thousands of tropical plants inside the conservatory's glass dome. Be sure to stop at the The Lincoln Park Farmers Market on Saturdays from May through October. You'll find freshly-grown produce, locally-made bread, cheese, spices, and more.
